On Saturday, we were up early to go to the doctor’s office for Avery’s latest round of shots. After two hours of waiting (long story) and all the drama/tragedy that goes with kids getting shots, we decided to stop for an early lunch on the way home.

Avery was a sport all through the morning and the meal, but eventually it was too much and she needed recharging. Once the eye-rubbing begins the only cure is a long nap.

We quickly paid the bill and headed for home. Not long after leaving the parking lot, Avery was asleep.
